Colliers International is adding 17 people to its South Florida offices, a week after Avison Young closed on its acquisition of Abood Wood Fay, which had been doing business as Colliers International South Florida. Through the hires, the commercial real estate agency is expanding its market coverage of Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and Boca Raton.
Colliers business has grown significantly over the past few years, GlobeSt.com reported.
“In terms of our footprint, we now have almost 500 offices globally and close to 16,000 employees,” Colliers U.S. president Craig Robinson said in the article. “And we’re at a point now where our focus is in a number of strategic markets. In those markets, specifically in the U.S., we see even greater opportunities going forward.” [GlobeSt.com] – Katherine Kallergis
