A $27.5 million unit at the Miami Beach EDITION has hit the market as the most expensive penthouse listing on Miami Beach, according to a press release.

The 5,246-square-foot penthouse was listed by William Pierce of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate. Designed by Ian Schrager, the unit has four bedrooms and bathrooms, plus 3,000 square feet of outdoor space.

Earlier in the day, the Wall Street Journal reported that Bollywood actress/producer Poonam Khubani and her husband A.J. Khubani, of “As Seen On TV” fame, were selling a penthouse at the Miami Beach EDITION for $27.5 million. These listings appear to be one and the same, however The Real Deal has not yet confirmed that.

Previously, TRD reported that public records posted in the first week of December revealed that Poonam Khubani paid $17.5 million for EDITION unit 1601, and also purchased unit 1602 for $16.5 million. The Journal reported that the penthouse the Khubanis are selling was purchased for $16.5 million. — Chris Guanche
