Miami Beach penthouses at “bargain-basement” prices

In light of the news that a penthouse at the Miami Beach EDITION has just hit the market with a $27.5 million listing, and the fact that it is the holidays and everyone’s shopping for discounts, The Real Deal took a look at some of the beach’s penthouse bargains.

The following are the five cheapest penthouse listed in Miami Beach over the last 30 days, according to Zillow data:

#1 A “rarely available” 1,351-square-foot penthouse is on the market for $1.2 million. Douglas Elliman’s Renee Hover has the listing for this unit (built in 1997) at 650 West Avenue that features two rooms and views of the Miami skyline.

#2 A Brazilian wood rooftop with jacuzzi is one of the features of this $1.27 million unit that offers 1,009 square feet of space. Corinne Dodd of Cervera Real Estate is the listing agent for this condo at 2100 Park Avenue, which was built in 2011 and offers beach service.

#3 Located at Murano Grande, this two-bedroom penthouse is going for $1.47 million. Marble floors and an extra large bathroom are part of the package for this unit at 400 Alton Road. The listing is with Jason Ostrow of Brickell Brokers.

#4 This five-bedroom penthouse on East Drive has a private rooftop and is selling for $1.99 million. Marie-Paule Houbre of Brickell Brokers has the listing for this 4,000-square-foot penthouse, which offers marina access.

#5 Located at 1500 Ocean Drive, this last penthouse is priced at $2.2 million. The penthouse offers 1,740 square feet of interior space and a 220-foot private terrace. David Pulley of Opulence International Realty LLC has the listing.
