A Palm Beach architectural board rejected plans for two spec houses that were once part of the historic Casa Apava estate.
The commission rejected — for the third time — architect Ben Schreier’s designs for two homes on separate lots on South Ocean Boulevard: a 16,665-square-foot Georgian-style mansion at 1340 South Ocean Boulevard and a 15,240-square-foot West Indies-style home at 1130 South Ocean Boulevard, according to the Palm Beach Daily News.
Both properties are being developed without a buyer. Companies associated with builder Mark Pulte of Mark Timothy Luxury Homes bought the properties from the still-owners of Casa Apava, the oceanfront home on Billionaires Row. [Palm Beach Daily News] — Katherine Kallergis
