Miami law firm McDonald Hopkins is expanding its offices by 8,700 square feet this week at downtown Miami’s Southeast Financial Center — and it’s not the only one in recent months.
DLA Piper expanded by 22,500 square feet to a total of 45,134 square feet and Salcedo Attorneys at Law P.A. expanded by 1,470 square feet to 5,111 square feet. Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP renewed its lease of 14,465 square feet, according to a news release.
The Southeast Financial Tower, at 200 South Biscayne Boulevard, is Florida’s largest office tower and plaza with more than 1.2 million square feet. Law firms are leading office leasing activity in Miami with 17 percent of the market. — Katherine Kallergis
