Proposals for the former West Palm Beach City Hall site will be heard at a Community Redevelopment Agency meeting on Tuesday.
The CRA’s director said it’ll be an easy pick, according to published reports, but did not specify which of the two pitches the board will choose.
The building has been vacant since its replacement opened at 401 Clematis Street in 2009. An August appraisal valued the site at $15.8 million, and said its best use would be as a hotel or condominium, along with some street-level retail and office space, the Palm Beach Post reported.
The two suitors are New England-based architect Hasham Ashkouri, and Navarro Lowrey Inc. [Palm Beach Post] — Katherine Kallergis
