Global pop superstar Shakira may be selling her luxurious Miami Beach pad for $12.9 million — that’s a $2 million discount from her 2013 asking price of $14.95 million.

The property is not listed on the multiple listing service. And Ben Moss, managing director of One Sotheby’s International Realty’s sports and entertainment division, who previously had the listing, says it is not for sale. Yet, at least three news outlets — The Miami New Times, The New York Post and DesignTrend.com say the property is for sale and cite the $12.9 million asking price. The New York post calls it a “whisper listing.”

The Colombian singer has owned the 8,355-square-foot six-bedroom, nine-bath home since 2001. According to property records, she paid $3.38 million for it.

Located at 3140 North Bay Road, and facing Biscayne Bay, the Miami New Times reports the two-story modern mansion features a professional kitchen, gym, nursery, as well as a dock. Past North Bay Road neighbors have included fellow Latin pop star Ricky Martin and Hollywood actor Matt Damon.

As formerly reported by The Real Deal, Matt Damon sold his seven-bedroom home on North Bay Road, late last year, for $15.4 million.

Shakira now lives with her Spanish professional soccer player boyfriend, Gerard Piqué, in Barcelona, as well as with their two-year-old son, Milan Piqué Mebarak. They have a second child on the way. [Miami New Times] Kristina Puga
