Terranova Corporation said Monday that it has signed Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ to Suniland Shopping Center in a deal that marks the restaurant chain’s second location in Miami-Dade County.
Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ’s 10-year lease is for 3,061 square feet at the center, at 11327 South Dixie Highway, Terranova said.
“Pinecrest has been somewhat underserved when it comes to table service restaurants, and we believe a proven concept like Gyu-Kaku will thrive in filling that void,” Terranova Senior Commercial Associate Juan Franco, who represented the landlord in the deal, said in a statement. “At the same time they will be a complimentary addition to Suniland’s long list of successful tenants.”
Other tenants at the strip shopping center, originally built in 1955, include CVS Pharmacy, Smoothie King, Flanigan’s, Citibank and Chicken Kitchen.
