Flanigan’s Enterprises is showing increased interest in the Pembroke Pines restaurant market in southwestern Broward County.
The Fort Lauderdale-based restaurant company paid $1.5 million for a corner location at 7000 Pines Boulevard in Pembroke Pines, which was a former Valero Gas Station, according to real estate records.
Flanigan’s already has one Pembroke Pines location further west, at 17185 Pines Boulevard, among its 23 casual dining locations in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and Martin counties.
Petroleum Investments was the seller of the 15,620-square-foot site at 7000 Pines Boulevard. The property comes with a specialty warranty deed that prohibits its use for the sale, marketing or storage of petroleum fuels or motor oils for eight years after the Feb. 4 closing.
