A shopping center near the Falls in South Miami-Dade County was sold for $16.7 million, according to public records.

Briar Bay Convenience Center at 13005 Southwest 89th Place was purchased by Real Sub, a Lakeland-based a subsidiary of Publix Super Markets.

A Publix anchors the shopping center. Outback Steakhouse and Little Hoolies Sports Bar and Grill are also tenants.

Real Sub purchased the two-story center from Kiki Courtelis, a trustee of the Alec Courtelis trust.
