Enrique Iglesias’ former mansion hit the market for $25 million on Wednesday.
Coldwell Banker’s William P.D. Pierce is marketing Villa Jasmine, at 1771 North View Drive on Sunset Island 1. Pierce told The Real Deal that the Spanish superstar purchased the property in 2000. He then rebuilt the original 1932 house.
Renovations were completed in 2003, and Iglesias sold it a year later to Marc Puleo, the former CEO of 1-800-PET-MEDS, for $7.85 million.
“The current owner is relocating after 11 years, but he loved the property so much he tried his best to maintain it as Enrique had it,” Pierce said.
The 8,300-square-foot house has six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. Its architecture has North African influences, with broad arches, tall curved windows and vibrant colors throughout.
The mansion also includes a rooftop jacuzzi and a home theater. A 1,400-square-foot pool and gazebo half acre-backyard face Biscayne Bay and downtown Miami.
“We have neighboring islands in Miami Beach. There are very limited point blocks on these,” Pierce told TRD. “You’re either facing downtown Miami, which is the money shot, or you’re facing north toward I-95.”
