Edward Stack, the CEO of Dick’s Sporting Goods, just purchased an oceanfront mansion in Palm Beach for $12 million.
The 8,946-square-foot home at 11610 Turtle Beach Road sits on an acre plot in the ritzy Seminole Beach subdivision, according to Palm Beach County property records. It was built in 1977 and has two stories, a garage, five bedrooms and five bathrooms.
Stack and his wife Donna purchased the home from Lynn and Robert Brown, who originally bought the home in 1986 for $1.175 million.
Dick Stack, Edward’s father, founded Dick’s Sporting Goods in 1948 when he was 18 years old. Edward and his siblings purchased the chain from their father and expanded it from two stores to more than 500, according to the store’s website.
