FTI Consulting, an international business consulting firm, has moved its Miami location to the One Biscayne office tower.
The deal was announced by Taylor & Mathis, the building’s exclusive leasing agent. Brian Gale and Ryan Holtzman of Taylor & Mathis brokered the deal for the owner, and Tony Jones of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant, according to a release.
FTI leased a 17,000-square-foot suite at the 39-story office tower in downtown Miami after leaving its offices at Miami Center. One Biscayne recently underwent renovations, and the building was Gold LEED certified in 2014, according to a release.
Major tenants of the 700,000 square-foot tower include Northwestern Mutual, Sedgwick, Harvard Maintenance, Grass Roots America, Veritext, Foreman Friedman, ADD Inc. now with Stantec, Young Bill Roumbus & Boles, Flagler Investment, Marcus Neiman & Rashbaum, and CellMark Pulp & Paper.
“The office market is on fire and leasing velocity at One Biscayne is still picking up steam,” Holtzman said in a statement. “We completed over 110,000 square feet of deals in 2013 and we were close to surpassing those numbers in 2014.”
