PHOTOS: On the scene at Riverwalk Pointe’s grand opening

Riverwalk Pointe at Mangrove Bay, a Jupiter apartment development, celebrated its grand opening recently.

Developers Index Living and Palm Beach-based Eastwind Development built the 55-and-up community, at 1044 South US Highway 1, according to a press release.

“Riverwalk Pointe at Mangrove Bay meets a growing demand for active adults who want a smarter way to live without the hassle of owning a property,” Bjarne Borg, CEO of Index Investment Group, said in a statement. “We recognized a need to bring this type of luxury rental community to older adults looking to downsize but still looking for the design, amenities and lifestyle to which they’re accustomed.”

The 104-unit project has one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments ranging from 888 square feet to 1,357 square feet. Rents start at $1,615. The community requires that one resident in each unit be 55 or older. — Katherine Kallergis
