A condo at the Fendi Château Residences sold for $11.9 million to a Mexican buyer, The Real Deal has learned.
Roberto Malca of Cervera Real Estate represented the buyer of the 6,000-square-foot unit, which includes a wrap-around terrace, four bedrooms and five bathrooms.
“It’s one of the best units in the building,” Malca told TRD.
Malca also represented the same buyer in a $3.8 million purchase of a unit at the St. Regis Bal Harbour in 2011.
The Fendi Château condo will be a second home for the buyer’s family, who was attracted to the small number of units in the building, allowing for more privacy, Malca said. The unit is under contract for $2,000 per square foot.
Fendi Château Residences, a collaboration between Fendi and Château Group, will be a 12-story tower at 9365 Collins Avenue. About 70 percent of the 58 units were under contract as of February, according to developers. Construction is slated for completion in the spring of 2016.
Condos range from 3,300 to 7,000 square feet, with prices from $6 million to $25 million. Each unit comes with a Fendi Casa kitchen, with custom Fendi Casa cabinets and Gaggenau appliances.
