Popular fashion retailer H&M is gearing up to open a store at the Boynton Beach Mall.
The 19,000-square-foot location will open this fall and include subsections for maternity, lingerie, sports apparel and a plus-size line of clothing, a publication reported.
The mall, at 801 North Congress Avenue, is owned by the international real estate firm Simon Property Group. Simon has stakes in malls like Dadeland and Aventura.
First opening in the U.S. fourteen years ago in New York City, H&M now has nine locations in South Florida, the Sun Sentinel reported.
A more unconventional tenant leased space at the mall in August: Christ Fellowship. An official with the International Council of Shopping Centers said the church could be a boon to the mall by increasing foot traffic on Sundays. [Sun Sentinel] — Sean Stewart-Muniz
