Several first-in-market outlet stores will soon open at the Colonnade Outlets at Sawgrass Mills, as the Sunrise shopping center continues its expansion.
Sawgrass Mills, which has more than 350 stores and restaurants, said new to market outlet locations to open include Ted Baker, Alexis Bittar, La Perla and Vince, as well as a first-in-state location from the Washington, D.C. eatery Matchbox. All are scheduled to debut during early 2016.
“This is a very exciting time as we embark on further development of The Colonnade Outlets at Sawgrass Mills with the addition of several coveted designers and eateries,” Luanne Lenberg, vice president and general manager at Sawgrass Mills said in a statement. “More fashion-forward stores and dining options, plus enhancements throughout the property are part of our clear vision for the future, as we welcome millions of global visitors and area residents year after year.”
Construction on the 80,000 square-foot expansion of The Colonnade Outlets at Sawgrass Mills, which will include 30 additional designer-brand outlet stores and full-service restaurants, began during the fall of 2014.
Ted Baker, Alexis Bittar, La Perla and Vince will join existing outlet retailers, like Prada, Gucci, Tory Burch and Burberry. — Ina Cordle
