The Hilton West Palm Beach convention center hotel topped off on Tuesday.
Miami-based Nichols Brosch Wurst Wolfe & Associates is the architect on the project, a 400-room, 12-story resort that will include 24,000-square-feet of meeting space and direct access to the Palm Beach County Convention Center via a covered walkway.
The hotel is slated to open in 2016. Amenities will include a full-service restaurant, pool deck with cabanas, lounges and a poolside bar, and a gym. The Hilton will overlook Okeechobee Boulevard and will be located one mile from Palm Beach International Airport, according to a press release.
NBWW has also designed the Loews Miami Beach, the Westin Diplomat Resort & Convention Center and is working on the Marriott Marquis Miami Worldcenter. Related Companies was tapped to develop the hotel in 2010. It broke ground in December 2013. — Katherine Kallergis
