An executive of the Spanish television network Univision just sold his condo at the Residences at the Bath Club in Miami Beach for $1.7 million.

The 2,059-square-foot unit was sold by Alberto Ciurana, who is the president of programming and content for Univision Networks. He bought the property in 2005 for $1 million before the Batch Club complex was completed, according to Miami-Dade property records.

The residence has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, 10-foot floor-to-ceiling windows, marble floors and white-glass terraces.

Ciurana was represented in the sale by Lana Bell of ONE Sotheby’s International Realty. The undisclosed buyer was represented by another One Sotheby’s agent, Carlos Garcia.

“Imagine the location for a moment: You are right on the water, and the beach is never more than a few steps away” said Bell in a statement. “Luxury is about living the good life, and that’s easy to do at the private Bath Club.”

Located at 5959 Collins Avenue, the Residences at the Bath Club was developed by Don Peebles and finished in 2006. Peebles sold all 107 units and six oceanfront villas by the time it opened. He is now building another condo complex with the Bath Club name, Bath Club Estates, at 6747 Collins Avenue. Plans include 13 units, and construction is slated to finish in late 2015 or early 2016. — Sean Stewart-Muniz
