A beachfront mansion in the Gulf Stream community of Palm Beach County was just sold for $6.5 million.
Located at 3813 North Ocean Boulevard, the 8,058-square-foot home was built in 2001 by its owners Richard Thurman and his wife Faye Thurman. The couple bought the 0.6-acre property in 1998 for $1.45 million, according to Palm Beach County property records.
A Chicago-brick motor court leads up to the five-bedroom, five-bathroom home. Inside, there are hardwood floors throughout and a marble staircase up to the second floor. Delray Beach-based architect Randall Stofft designed the mansion.
It was purchased by Louis Campisano and Jeanette Frankenberg, who are trustees of the Gulf Stream Family Trust, county records show. Frankenberg, an attorney, and Campisano, an insurance executive, live in New Jersey.
Corcoran’s Betty Devitt was the listing agent.
