A number of tennis players and celebrities stopped in at Chateau Group’s lounge at the Miami Open tennis tournament during its two-week run. The developer was a sponsor of the tournament, and hosted a showcase with a model of its Fendi Chateau project, which is slated to open in 2016.

Tennis players David Ferrer, Fernando Verdasco, Stan Wawrinka and Andrea Petkovi visited the lounge. Puerto Rican singer and actor Carlos Ponce was also in attendance, along with retired Brazilian soccer superstar Ronaldo Luís Nazário.

Members of brokerage Venegas International Group, which is exclusively selling and marketing the Fendi Chateau Residences, also made appearances.

The project, at 9365 Collins Avenue, is a partnership between Argentinian developer Chateau Group and the Italian firm Fendi. It will have 58 ocean-side units when completed, with prices ranging from $6 million to $25 million. Fendi Chateau is currently 75-percent sold. — Sean Stewart-Muniz
