Realtors explored Little Havana recently as part of a real estate bus tour hosted by Fausto Commercial Realty.
The firm’s goal was to bring attention to budding development in the historic neighborhood by introducing Realtors to local developers, investors and business owners. The tour kicked off with breakfast at Tower Theater, one of Miami’s oldest cultural landmarks, and ended with a “Mojito networking hour” at the Ball & Chain Lounge.
It was sponsored by Miami-based developer Astor Companies, Florida International University’s business school and Continental National Bank.
Astor Companies is developing a 320-unit condo project in Little Havana named InTown, which is targeting young professionals. Henry Torres, CEO of Astor, put his home in Coral Gables up for sale at $14 million in February. — Sean Stewart-Muniz
