After participating in the Broward panel of The Real Deal‘s Broward Real Estate Forum & Showcase, Dan Riordan of Turnberry Associates sat down with TRD’s Managing Editor Ina Cordle to talk about the group’s latest project in Sunny Isles Beach.
Riordan, president of Turnberry’s residential division, said the 54-story Turnberry Ocean Club condo tower is the company’s first new, local project in about five years — and probably its nicest.
When asked who’s buying into Turnberry’s projects, he said roughly a third of the project’s buyers are from the Northeastern United States, while the majority come from South America and Europe.
TRD’s forum, held on April 23 at the Design Center of the Americas in Dania, featured two panels: the first was a discussion of Broward County’s development renaissance, and the other investigated the future of foreign investment in South Florida’s real estate market.
