The nation’s largest lash extension franchise company is opening its first Miami location, and plans further expansion, as the craze for long eyelashes grows.

Amazing Lash Studio has signed a lease for a 2,391-square-foot shop in Miracle Marketplace, at 3301 Coral Way in Miami, according to Terranova Corp. Other retailers at the marketplace include DSW, Ulta, Marshalls, Nordstrom Rack and LA Fitness.

Terranova Corp.’s commercial associate Karen Maerovitz represented Amazing Lash Studio in it’s five-year lease, according to a press release.

The franchise is expected to open this winter, Terranova said.

Eyelash extensions are becoming increasingly en vogue. Amazing Las Studio’s extensions are made of synthetic strands created to replicate a natural eyelash, according to its website.

Other eyelash extension stores in New York and Los Angeles include Barbi Eyelashes, Fabulash, Blink, and Bling Lash. Blink also has two locations in South Florida, in Delray Beach and South Miami.

So far, Amazing Lash Studio has awarded 107 franchises in 19 states, its website says. Currently, 27 studios are open nationwide, including one at Boca Village Square in Boca Raton.

“We wanted their first location in Miami to be their biggest and best yet,” Maerovitz said in a statement, “with over 12 rooms for technicians to service their clients in privacy.”
