Atlanta-based Pollack amasses Florida rentals

Though based in Atlanta, apartment developer Pollack Shores Real Estate Group pays a lot of attention to Florida, where almost half of its projects are located.

Pollack recently began construction of Marisol at Viera, a 282-unit luxury multifamily development in Viera, a master-planned community in  Brevard County.

The Viera project will give Pollack more than 4,400 apartments in Florida developments with capitalization totaling more than $500 million.

Marisol at Viera apartment units will be available as early as April 2016 and construction is scheduled for completion in October of next year.

Pollack last December finished building Gateway North, a luxury apartment development in Largo with 342 units, the first new luxury rental property in 20 years.

Other multifamily developments by Pollack in Florida include two in the Orlando area, one in Tampa and one in Clearwater, most of them with more than 300 units. [Globe Street News] — Mike Seemuth
