A newly built mansion in Coral Ridge was just sold for $7 million, The Real Deal has learned.
The 10,356-square-foot home, at 1717 Middle River Drive, is contemporary in style and features recessed lighting, floor-to-ceiling glass and an open floor plan. It sits on a quarter-acre waterfront lot in the Coral Ridge neighborhood of Fort Lauderdale, and has more than 100 feet of frontage on Middle River.
Inside, the home includes a wine room, billiards room, private theater, six bedrooms, seven full bathrooms and two half-baths.
Outside, the property has a waterfront pool and a standalone gym with a full bathroom.
Chad Gray of Coldwell Banker listed the property. The asking price was $8.5 million, but even at its $7 million closing, the sale was the highest in the neighborhood since 2009.
“This home was built in 2013 with high-quality finishings, custom décor and design, breathtaking views and contemporary architecture, which is very much in demand,” Gray said in a statement.
The property was owned by a revocable trust in the name of Gary Palmer, who purchased the land in 2009. The buyer’s identity was not disclosed, and the sale has not yet been recorded in Broward County records.
