The week in luxury: A map of Miami-Dade’s priciest condo sales

A handful of multimillion dollar closings topped this week’s list of Miami-Dade County’s most expensive condo sales, according to data from

The week was led by the sale of a top-floor penthouse in the St. Regis Bal Harbour. PH-07, with its all-white color scheme and modern finishes, traded last week for $5.7 million. That equates to a sizable $2,384 per square foot. Natalia Cheremeta of Victoria Blintser Real Estate had the listing.

After Cheremeta’s closing was the $2.5 million sale of an 18th-floor unit at the Jade Ocean tower in Sunny Isles Beach. T. Kimberly Rodstein of Keller Williams had that listing, which spent 335 days on the market before selling.

Following that, two more units in Sunny Isles Beach were sold for just over $2 million. Both were in the Turnberry Ocean Colony, a pair of 38-story beachfront condo towers with a combined 260 units. Lana Bell of ONE Sotheby’s International Realty sold the first one, unit 2602, for $2.1 million. Close behind her was Bela Chuzhyk of Azora Realty, who sold unit 902 for $2.075 million.

Prices on the list gradually fell after those units, with the final three units falling below $1 million.

Chris Leavitt, a Realtor with Douglas Elliman and star of Bravo’s hit TV show “Million Dollar Listing: Miami,” made his way onto the list with his $710,000 sale of a unit at the Marquis Residences in downtown Miami.

A total of 147 condos were sold in the county last week for $43.578 million. Those figures largely stayed the same from the previous week, which only saw three fewer units sold. Average prices were $304,748 per unit and $240 per square foot.
