Largest vacant lot on North Bay Road listed for $20M

A nearly 1-acre waterfront lot on North Bay Road has been listed by Jill Hertzberg and Jill Eber of Coldwell Banker, The Jills announced on Monday.

The 37,895-square-foot property, at 5840 North Bay Road, was listed for $19.95 million. It’s currently the largest listed vacant lot on North Bay Road, an area known for its water views and celebrity real estate.

The property, owned by Barish Family Investments LLC, features 191 feet of water frontage. The listing includes plans for a modern, two-story, 18,507-square-foot mansion designed by DOMO Architecture + Design. A 6,218-square-foot home, built in 1929, was previously part of the property. It last sold in November for $15.25 million, according to Miami-Dade property records.

“North Bay Road is such a desirable location because of its wide bay views,” Eber said in a statement. “This beautiful lot offers buyers a chance tobuild their dream estate, the way they want it, in one of Miami’s mostsought-after luxury residential areas.”

Earlier this year, Chicken Kitchen founder Christian de Berdouare listed a newly constructed mansion at 5004 North Bay Road. And in December, Oscar winner Matt Damon sold his estate at  6020 North Bay Road— Katherine Kallergis
