A biotechnology entrepreneur and venture capitalist has sold his Palm Beach home, county records show.
Sheridan Snyder, founder and CEO of West Palm Beach-based Biocatalyst International, sold the 4,160-square-foot residence for $5.73 million on July 9. An LLC tied to Rockville, Maryland-based William Rickman Construction was the buyer, according to Palm Beach County records.
The four-bedroom, three-bathroom home at 1285 North Ocean Boulevard was built in 1955. It sits on a nearly 0.4-acre lot across the street from the ocean, property records show. It includes a pool, patio and deck.
Snyder paid $3.8 million for the property in April 2005. It also features a two-car garage.
Christian Angle of Christian Angle Real Estate was the listing agent, while Carole Koeppel of Sotheby’s International Realty brought the buyer, according to Redfin.
The Princess of Jordan recently sold her Palm Beach mansion at 1320 North Lake Way for $14.5 million. Also in July, a mid-century home on the Intracoastal side of Palm Beach sold for $15.6 million.
