An oceanfront mansion in Manalapan, complete with its own tennis court and dock on the Intracoastal, was just sold for $16.5 million.
The home, built in 2004 and most recently owned by a Russian businessman, is located at 860 South Ocean Boulevard. It occupies a 1.62-acre lot that stretches from the Atlantic Ocean to the Intracoastal Waterway.
Its listing with the Corcoran Group describes the home as a compound, with features ranging from landscaped grounds and waterfalls to a dock fit for a large yacht and custom outdoor lighting. The property also has a separate one-bedroom guest house.
The mansion’s interiors include a modern kitchen, off-white master bathroom and custom wood finishes.
Listing agents Randy Ely and Nicholas Malinosky represented the seller, Aleksander Popov. The website Virtual Globetrotting, which tracks celebrity real estate, says that Popov is the former director of Chitaavia Airlines in Russia before it was bought out in 2004.
The sale has not yet cleared Palm Beach County records, so the buyer is not yet known.
