Bollywood actress and businesswoman Poonam Khubani has listed her penthouse at the swanky Miami Beach Edition for $27.5 million, roughly nine months after she first purchased it.

The three-level residence is decked out with teak-wood flooring, 20-foot ceilings and its own private rooftop lap pool. It’s also been staged with designer furniture for showings, but the listing agent said buyers have an option to purchase those too.

It has 5,246 square feet of interior space, and more than 8,000 square feet of terrace and rooftop space. The asking price breaks down to about $5,242 per square foot.

Jay Parker, CEO of Douglas Elliman, told The Real Deal that the penthouse has drawn considerable interest since it was listed roughly two weeks ago.

“If you look at the penthouses currently on the market, it’s a rarity to find something like this in an international hotel like the Edition,” Parker told TRD.

The unit, No. 1602 in the building, is being co-listed by Laura Cresto, Chad Carroll and Devin Kay of Douglas Elliman.

Miami-Dade County property records show that Khubani, a Bollywood actress and vice president of infomercial giant Telebrands, paid $16.5 million for the unit in December through the Khubani Family Trust. She also purchased unit 1601 for $17.5 million at about the same time.
