Former Miami Dolphins coach Joe Philbin has listed his house in Davie for sale at an asking price of $2.499 million.
The six-bedroom, seven-bathoom residence at 2232 Phoenix Avenue is at a gated community called Northstar Estates.
The listing by Deborah Khoury, an agent for Exit Ryan Scott Realty, discloses that the home has a media room and a library as well as a separate one-bedroom guest house.
Philbin and his wife Diane bought the home in 2012 for $1.78 million.
It is located approximately six miles from the Miami Dolphins’ training complex in Davie.
The owner of the Dolphins, Stephen Ross, fired Philbin October 5 after the team’s loss to the New York Jets in London.
The Dolphins had lost three of the team’s first four games this season when Ross replaced Philbin with interim coach Dan Campbell, who led Miami to a 38-10 win over the Tennessee Titans on October 18. [Sun-Sentinel] — Mike Seemuth
