Douglas Elliman Development Marketing has tapped Adriana Vargas Hernandez as director of sales for One River Point. Hernandez has more than 22 years of experience, most recently as vice president of broker relations of Fortune International, Related Cervera and Cervera Real Estate.
When completed, the 60-story condominium along the Miami River will feature an Adrian Zecha-curated private club with a host of amenities that includes an 85-foot waterfall, a three-story, floating glass skybridge, and the 55th floor “Sky Club.” The project, designed by Rafael Viñoly, was unveiled by developers last fall.
Chase Kulp joined Cushman & Wakefield’s agency leasing team. Kulp left JLL, where he was an office leasing associate, and before that he worked for the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance. The firm’s agency leasing team is led by Deanna Lobinsky and Travis Herring and has a combined transaction volume of more than $2.5 billion. The team left CBRE in November.
Cervera Real Estate hired Omar De Windt as vice president of corporate communications. De Windt specializes in North America, the Caribbean and Latin America media markets and has worked with more than 20 real estate developments. At Cervera, he will create a corporate communication strategy as well as focus on media relations for the Brickell-based real estate firm. De Windt was previously director of public relations for 3AWorldwide, an international marketing firm headquartered in Miami.
Karen M. Kennedy joined Douglas Elliman‘s Boca Raton office. Kennedy, a Realtor associate, has more than 25 years of residential real estate experience. She was previously with Lang Realty and Arvida Realty, which became Coldwell Banker. – Katherine Kallergis
