Indianapolis Colts running back and former University of Miami football star Frank Gore handed off one of his Davie homes for $1.5 million.

That was about $200,000 less than he paid for it. Gore bought the 6,919-square-foot house at 12545 Southwest 20 Street for about $1.7 million in 2008, a year after construction of the house was completed.

Gore still resides in Davie at an even larger house. He owns a 7,818-square-foot house on a lake at 12535 Stoneway Court, which he purchased in 2014 for a little over $1 million.

Gore is a graduate of Coral Gables High School who went on to play football for the University of Miami when UM won the national championship in 2001.

He played for the San Francisco 49ers from 2005 to 2014 before joining the Indianapolis Colts.  He has been selected to play in the National Football League’s Pro Bowl five times. [South Florida Business Journal]— Mike Seemuth
