Brett and David Haller of the Haller Group were tapped as vice presidents of international sales for Dezer Development. The Hallers, who are brothers, will lead sales and marketing for properties that include Porsche Design Tower and Residences by Armani/Casa. The Haller Group has led sales and marketing for projects totaling more than $600 million.
David Haller has worked with projects such as Midtown Miami Residences, Nine at Mary Brickell Village and Biscayne Beach, and was previously director of luxury sales at Douglas Elliman. Brett Haller has worked with luxury and preconstruction properties in Midtown Miami, Brickell, Aventura and South Beach.
High Street Retail USA launched a property management division and brought on Lenor Ryan to oversee those services. The commercial real estate brokerage has two offices in Miami, according to a press release. Ryan was previously with DDR and General Growth Properties.
Ability by Acierto named Robert Morales as vice president of operations. Morales will lead project management for Bijou Bay Harbor, the company’s planned luxury waterfront development in Bay Harbor Islands. He has nearly a decade of experience in the Bal Harbour, Sunny Isles Beach and South Beach markets.
Brown Harris Stevens | Zilbert hired Evgeny “Jack” Nagimov and Stacey Chopp as licensed Realtors. Chopp has worked with projects such as Faena, Edition and W South Beach. She was a Realtor associate with Vecchi+Stoka Group, while Nagimov was previously a Realtor at Miami Villa Realty.
Krista DeCastro joined Katz Barron Squitero Faust as a new partner in the firm’s Miami office. DeCastro has more than 10 years of experience representing lenders, developers and private and institutional investors on real estate matters. DeCastro was previously a partner in the Miami office of Di Santo LLP, where she handled leasing and other national real estate matters for Starwood Capital Group. She has also worked at White & Case, Bilzin Sumberg and Akerman.
DeCastro has worked on deals that include a $160 million construction loan for the Mansions at Acqualina and the $280 million in financing for the EPIC Miami Hotel & Residences in downtown Miami.
Avatar Real Estate Services hired Chaher Kashlan as a Realtor associate in the brokerage’s Miami Beach office. Prior to working in luxury real estate, Kashlan worked with brands such as Georgia-Pacific, Colgate-Palmolive, General Mills and Nestle.
Coldwell Banker’s Brickell office brought on Sam Azar as a Realtor and director of luxury sales. Azar comes to Coldwell from CP Design Build, where he was president since 2010. He has sold more than 1,500 properties over the course of his real estate career.
Cushman & Wakefield Matt Avelar as an associate in its Boca Raton office. He previously worked at Cushman & Wakefield’s Long Island office, where he handled business development for the office leasing team. In Boca, Avelar will focus on tenant representation. He has also worked at Sotheby’s on Long Island.
In Palm Beach, William R. Eubanks has teamed up with Ben Stein at Brown Harris Stevens. Eubanks has 40 years of experience as an interior designer and has been named a Christie’s International Real Estate Luxury Specialist. He will continue to work as an interior designer. – Katherine Kallergis
