13th Floor set to build 239-home Tamarac project

Miami-based 13th Floor Homes this week will start construction and sales for the second of three home building projects in Tamarac along Commercial Boulevard near Florida’s Turnpike.

The developer on Wednesday is scheduled to break ground Wednesday for Manor Parc, a development of 239 homes priced  from about $279,000 to $337,000. Manor Parc is located just south of a completed sister development called Central Parc, a similarly priced project where all 253 homes recently sold out.

Central Parc is located on a 40-acre former golf course that 13th Floor bought in 2011 for $6.5 million. The three- and four-bedroom homes at Central Parc are sized from 1,600 square feet to 2,100. They feature brick-paver patios, concrete-tile roofs and granite counter tops.

By early 2017, 13th Floor Homes plans to launch sales of a third, 214-home development in Tamarac called Hidden Trails on a site near the Central Parc and Manor Parc developments. [Sun-Sentinel] — Mike Seemuth
