A waterfront mansion in the Gables Estates neighborhood traded hands for $7.45 million, or about $730 per square foot.

The trusts of William and Donna Box sold the 10,164-square-foot home, at 300 Leucadendra Drive in Coral Gables to Martinica Blue LLC, records show.

The two-story, four-bedroom mansion was built in 1982 and sits on a nearly 1-acre plot. It last sold for about $2 million in 1992.

Audrey Ross, a top agent at EWM International, was the listing agent. Ross had the property on the market in 2014 for $8.85 million, then dropped the price in February of this year to just less than $8 million. Saddy Delgado of ONE Sotheby’s International Realty brought the buyer, according to Realtor.com.

Corporate records show the buyer is controlled by manager Gaston Rodriguez. Rodriguez’s Coconut Grove address ties back to Christine Ardalan, who owns the massive 4.5-acre bayfront estate, built in 1914, at 3601 Bayview Drive in Coconut Grove.

The property features a landscaped atrium, heated pool, a wood-burning fireplace, stained glass ceilings, wood floors and an elevator. The home includes a library with floor-to-ceiling bookcases, a gourmet kitchen with a butler’s pantry and a master suite, according to the listing.

Gables Estates, located south of Cocoplum, is home to a bevy of multimillion-dollar mansions. A few doors down from 300 Leucadendra Drive, a Panamanian corporation paid $16.5 million last week for the former home of developer Sergio Pino at 325 Leucadendra Drive.
