At 60 percent sold, developer CK Prive Group is now converting reservations to contracts at its Forum Aventura office-condo project near Aventura.
The 12-story office tower was first announced by its developer in August 2015, with plans including roughly 95,000 square feet of space split among offices, two retail condos on the ground floor and a 5,000-square-foot lobby with a massive 30-foot ceiling.
In an email to The Real Deal, Prive Group CEO Javier Rabinovich said buyers have primarily been Latin American investors, along with local professionals and individuals looking to set up family offices.
Spaces range from 550 square feet to 1,300 square feet for a single office, with options to combine spaces up to a maximum of 8,500 square feet. Prices start at $300,000.
Rabinovich said the firm anticipates a July groundbreaking, with completion slated toward the end of 2018’s second quarter.
The Arquitectonica-designed building will have amenities like a rooftop lounge and meeting area, kitchen and meeting area, plus landscaping from designer Roberto Rovira.
Affiliates of CK Prive paid $2.38 million for Forum Aventura’s 37,684-square-foot development site at 19790 West Dixie Highway in February 2015, according to county records.
The site is technically in Ojus, a former municipality in Miami-Dade County, though it’s across the street from Aventura Mall.
CK Prive Group, a partnership between Prive Land Banking and CK Holdings, is also developing a second office-condo project in Ojus called Aventura Square.
