Sherrer, president and chief executive of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices of Florida Network Realty, had operated her company as Prudential Network Realty until January 2014, when it became an independently owned and operated Berkshire Hathaway franchise.

She told the Jacksonville Business Journal that negotiations to sell her franchise began in December and the transaction became effective in May.

Sherrer and her daughter, Christy Budnick, vice president of the company, will continue in their current roles at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices of Florida Network Realty. [Navarre Press] — Mike Seemuth
