The Meyer Group, a six-person team from Fortune International Realty, has joined Compass Miami.

Led by Levi Meyer, his team focuses on luxury sales and rentals in Coconut Grove, Coral Gables and Miami. They will work out of Compass’s Coconut Grove office at 2550 South Bayshore Drive, according to a spokesperson.

“Because everything is so efficient on the back end, my team and I can focus more on our clients and growing our business,” Meyer said in a press release.

The addition brings Compass Miami’s total agent count to 45, the spokesperson said. Compass opened its first Florida office in August in Miami Beach with five agents, with a goal to increase to 100 eventually. In February, it hired former Coldwell Banker and Douglas Elliman agents (and brothers) Julian and Jacques Cohen.

Led in Florida by former ONE Sotheby’s International Realty executive Beth Butler, the firm brought on Louise Sunshine as an adviser earlier this year, but she left after less than six months with Compass.

The technology-oriented brokerage has offices in New York City, Washington, D.C., Boston, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, the Hamptons and Aspen.
