Miami-based J.I. Kislak Inc. paid $5.15 million for six one-story office buildings clustered in Plantation.

Commercial real estate brokerage Cushman & Wakefield negotiated the sale of Plantation Professional Park for $81 per square foot on behalf of the Illinois-based seller, Equitrust Life Insurance Company.

Senior associate Greg Miller, executive director Scott O’Donnell, senior director Dominic Montazemi and director Miguel Alcivar comprised the Cushman team representing Equitrust Life Insurance.

Plantation Professional Park consists of six buildings with 63,319 square feet of space built from 1987 to 1989 on a 7.84-acre site at 6710-6834 West Sunrise Boulevard.

The property includes vacant land entitled for development of a two-story medical building.

Medical and professional tenants comprise many of the businesses at Plantation Professional Park, located three miles from Westside Regional Medical Center.

Cushman & Wakefield research shows Plantation is among Broward County’s top-performing office sub-markets.

“With no new office product and limited existing Cass A space, Cushman & Wakefield foresees demand for quality Class B space to strengthen and key fundamentals to improve market-wide,” Valerie Tatum, a senior Cushman research analyst, wrote in a first-quarter report on the Broward County office market.
