Brazilian Samba dancers and live violinists entertained more than 100 guests at the event, where city of Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado presented Jose Luis Melo with the key to the city.

The developer completed Melody in May. Rents at the fully leased building range from $1,650 for a one-bedroom apartment to $2,350 for a three-bedroom unit. The building also has ground floor retail and restaurant space. Its tenants, Brazil’s Parmegiana Factory and New York Miami Pizza are set to open this quarter. – Katherine Kallergis and Sean Stewart-Muniz
