Melo Group unveiled a public art installation at its newest project in Miami’s Arts & Entertainment District last week.
Melo showcased “Endless Melody,” an 8-foot tall violin sculpture by Albanian artist Helidon Xhixha, at Melody Tower, a 38-story, 497-unit apartment building at 245 Northeast 14th Street.
Brazilian Samba dancers and live violinists entertained more than 100 guests at the event, where city of Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado presented Jose Luis Melo with the key to the city.
The developer completed Melody in May. Rents at the fully leased building range from $1,650 for a one-bedroom apartment to $2,350 for a three-bedroom unit. The building also has ground floor retail and restaurant space. Its tenants, Brazil’s Parmegiana Factory and New York Miami Pizza are set to open this quarter. – Katherine Kallergis and Sean Stewart-Muniz
