From Luxury Listings NYC: A co-founder of Juicy Couture is selling her Beverly Hills home, which was also once owned by the late TV host Merv Griffin, for $100 million, the Wall Street Journal reports.

The price includes the home’s artwork– including pieces by Robert Motherwell and Julian Schnabel — and home furnishings.

Currently owned by Pamela Skaist-Levy, a co-founder of Juicy Couture, and her husband, director Jefery Levy, the 12,000-square-foot home was built around 1940 and sits on five acres. It comes with a pine forest and a wooden cabin, a rose garden, a separate building with a gym and sunken tennis court, a saltwater swimming pool, a pool pavilion that can also be used as a space to screen movies, a recording studio, sound design studio, editing studio, two driving ranges and a putting green. The Levys say they have hosted huge parties at the house, including their son’s bar mitzvah, which was attended by 1,500. Levy used the home as the setting for two of his films, “Me” (trailer below) and “The Key.”

The Levys spent $17.5 million on the house in 2005, but say they poured $12 million into renovating it (this still does not add up to anywhere near $100 million, but ok). They are selling because their two sons are moving out and it’s too big for the two of them.

Variety reported in September 2015 that the Levys were quietly listing the home for $50 million so we aren’t sure how the price nearly doubled since then, though the Journal suggest that they may have been inspired by the sale of the Playboy mansion. [WSJ]
