Cantina La Veinte celebrates two years at Icon Brickell: PHOTOS

Cantina La Veinte opened its first U.S. outpost in Miami’s Brickell neighborhood two years ago, and celebrated that anniversary with a party on Wednesday.

Located at Icon Brickell at 495 Brickell Avenue, the waterfront restaurant was designed by Mexican architectural firm Niz + Chauvet with a black onyx bar, antique mirrors and a black and gold chandelier.

The 450-seat restaurant and bar serves high-end traditional Mexican dishes as well as cocktails.

Icon Brickell was built during the last real estate cycle by the Related Group, though the developer turned over two of the project’s three towers to lender HSBC as part of a settlement to cover Related’s outstanding $351 million loan.
