Pulte Group, the nation’s third-largest home builder, plans to launch sales in November for 645 homes and townhomes it will build on a golf course in Hollywood.
Prices at the Parkview at Hillcrest community will start above $300,000. The residences will range in size from 1,500 square feet to 3,000 square feet.
Atlanta-based Pulte will build on more than 150 acres the company bought in June for $25 million from the Hillcrest Golf & Country Club. Pulte’s acquisition includes an 18-hole golf course, a nine-hole executive golf course, clubhouse facilities and tennis courts.
Brent Baker, president of Pulte’s Southeast Florida Division, said in a written statement that “homes in this area are in tight supply and are highly desirable because of their close proximity to employment corridors, shopping, entertainment and the beaches.” [Sun-Sentinel] — Mike Seemuth
