Updated, 5:20 p.m., Sept. 6: A modern, waterfront Todd Glaser-built mansion in Miami Beach’s Sunset Islands is back on the market about two years after it sold.
Inversiones Y.A.M.R. LLC, a company led by Venezuelan-born Yvan Martinez Rengifo, is asking $19.5 million for the 9,904-square-foot home at 2305 Lake Avenue, according to Realtor.com. The owner bought the house in May 2014 for $14.25 million.
Glaser paid close to $3.9 million for the nearly 24,000-square-foot property in 2012 and completed the two-story, eight-bedroom mansion a year later. Glaser has since said that he’s focusing on redeveloping non-waterfront properties.
The Sunset Islands estate features a rooftop entertainment deck, two swimming pools, two reflecting ponds, a boat dock for up to a 100-foot yacht, a guest house and a summer kitchen. It’s been listed before, at its peak for $22.7 million in March of last year, according to Realtor.com.
Martinez Rengifo is CEO of Capital Companies, a Latin American-focused investment conglomerate with offices in Brickell, Doral and New York City. The firm offers services in real estate, property management and insurance.
Martinez Rengifo is also the listing agent for the property with the company’s brokerage arm, Capital Int’l Realty. Corporate records show he and Miguel Lauricella control the LLC that owns the mansion.
