Key International and 13th Floor Investments just topped off their 1010 Brickell luxury condo tower at its 50th floor, leaving the project on track to open its doors in the first half of 2017.
Construction work has been ongoing since at least September 2014, when the development partnership broke ground on the 387-unit tower at 1010 Brickell Avenue.
So far, 99 percent of the tower’s units have been sold, with four condos remaining starting at $920,000. Preconstruction prices at the building ranged from the $300,000s for a studio to more than $1 million for a three-bedroom condo.
The tower’s amenities include a fitness center with its own running track, rock climbing wall and sport courts, several pools, and a residents-only spa with a Turkish bath and steam rooms. It’s also across the street from the Tenth Street Promenade Metromover station and within walking distance to the Shops at Mary Brickell Village.
Key International Sales, the brokerage arm of Key International, handled marketing. The developers financed construction with a $76 million syndicated loan from Regions Bank, Mercantile Commercebank and City National Bank.
The building has ground-floor retail space that was purchased by the Mattoni Group, a Miami investment company, though the firm has yet to announce its plans for the 11,000-square-foot commercial area. Renderings on the firm’s website show a cafe-like tenant occupying the space, with outdoor seating and floor-to-ceiling windows. — Sean Stewart-Muniz
