Bridge Development Partners signed a pre-construction lease with flooring company Floor & Decor for 82,755 square feet at a Fort Lauderdale industrial park scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2017.

Floor & Decor plans to operate a showroom and distribution center at the Bridge Point I-95 industrial park, located near Interstate 95 at 2200 West Sunrise Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale.

Brokerage firm CBRE represented the developer in the lease negotiations. Tony Hoover, first vice president, and Larry Genet, senior associate, led the CBRE team. Melody Spanos and Mercedes Loftus of SRA represented Floor & Decor in the lease negotiations.

Bridge Development has two buildings under construction at its Fort Lauderdale industrial park, each designed to span about 150,000 square feet. The park still has available spaces as small as 10,000 square feet and as large as the remaining 223,711 square feet of empty space.

Bridge develops and acquires commercial real estate in South Florida, northern New Jersey, Los Angeles and Chicago.
