A speculative developer listed two new waterfront homes in Palm Beach for sale, complete with furnishings, with asking prices that would total $82 million.
Mark Pulte of Mark Timothy Inc. built the homes on adjacent lots along an exclusive stretch of South Ocean Boulevard known as Billionaires Row.
The two lots, each about an acre, formerly comprised part of the historic Casa Apava estate in Palm Beach. Pulte bought the lots in 2014 for a total of $24.9 million.
Broker Lawrence Moens, who arranged the lot sales, is the listing broker for the two homes that Pulte built on the lots.
Benjamin Schrier of Affiniti Architects designed the homes, and Marc-Michaels Interior Design, with locations in Boca Raton and Winter Park, furnished the rooms in a contemporary style.
The home at 1340 South Ocean Boulevard, listed for $42.5 million, has seven bedrooms and 16,787 square feet of living space.
The home at 1330 South Ocean Boulevard, listed for $39.5 million, has five bedrooms and 14,704 square feet of living space.
Both homes have 180 feet of lakefront, and they face islands that have been designated as bird sanctuaries. [Palm Beach Daily News] — Mike Seemuth
