Tim Gannon, co-founder of the Outback Steakhouse restaurant chain, listed his oceanfront house in Palm Beach for sale for $15.9 million, almost triple the price he paid in 2011.
Gannon purchased the four-bedroom house at 1300 North Ocean Boulevard In 2011 for $5.5 million and then thoroughly renovated the Regency-style residence, built in 1991.
Among the selling points are views of the ocean from every part of the house, even the kitchen, thanks to its above-average elevation, 17 feet above sea level.
It has “the most beautiful views of the ocean from almost every room,” Gannon, told the Palm Beach Daily News.
The newspaper also reported that Gannon, who owns the South Florida franchise of the PDQ restaurant chain, plans to remain in Palm Beach.
His house for sale has several rooms with 14-foot ceiling heights and a floor plan that wraps around the pool deck. Built on a lot covering half an acre, it has 6,505 square feet of indoor and outdoor living space.
